Mugen Confirms Judging Panel for Genesis Virtual Pitch Competition
Genesis is not a beauty contest for pitch decks. It is built for teams that have already committed to launching and now need the operational structure that carries them through it”
GEORGE TOWN, CAYMAN ISLANDS, August 25, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Mugen, a Web3 foundation management and advisory firm headquartered in the Cayman Islands, announced its virtual pitch competition for blockchain and AI projects, scheduled for September 3, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. CST. Applications for projects remain open until August 25, 2026.— Yaroslav Pshenitsyn
Mugen Genesis is open to projects that are within 6 to 18 months of a token launch, have a mainnet or testnet live and are seeking operational infrastructure, are building governance or treasury frameworks from scratch, or are infrastructure and middleware teams expanding into multi-chain environments. The selected team will receive up to $25,000 in operational and strategic support delivered by Mugen across foundation and entity structuring, treasury management, governance design, finance and account, and compliance.
“Genesis is not a beauty contest for pitch decks. It is built for teams that have already committed to launching and now need the operational structure that carries them through it,” said Yaroslav Pshenitsyn, Founder of Mugen. “The panel reflects that. Every judge has been in the room when the difference between a clean launch and a compromised one was decided by decisions made months earlier.”
The Mugen Genesis judging panel brings together entrepreneurs, operators, investors, market-makers, and governance specialists from across the Cayman and global Web3 ecosystem. Members of the panel are listed as: (1) Yaroslav Pshenitsyn, Founder of Mugen and former Head of the Chainlink Foundation, (2) Matt Arney, Head of Business Development at Blockchain.com, (3) Lucia Gallardo, Serial Entrepreneur, Strategic Advisor and Governance Specialist and (4) Jason Butcher, Investor, Mentor, Advisor and Entrepreneur.
The panel will be moderated by Paola Shushkovsky, Head of Business Development and Marketing at Mugen. Finalists will pitch directly to the panel during the virtual finalist event, gaining exposure to the Cayman crypto ecosystem and to the operators and investors who evaluate teams preparing to launch..
“The strongest reason to apply is not the prize itself. It is the exposure to the operators and investors who decide whether a project gets the room it needs to launch cleanly,” added Pshenitsyn. “Every team that reaches the finalist round gets that.”
Full program details, judging criteria, and the application form are available at Mugen Genesis.
