Invasive Species Management at Rainbow Meadow
Please note that the NJ Invasive Species Strike Team will be using herbicide to spot spray the mugwort in the fields and English Ivy in the back corner of the tree line on the mornings of September 29, October 5, 6, & 7, weather permitting. These invasive plants grow aggressively and will kill our native plants if left unchecked. The Strike team have placed pesticide flags on the perimeter to ensure people and pets stay out of these areas for 2 weeks. The herbicide work is very carefully targeted to only impact the invasive species in question. The park and trail will remain open.
